It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas~October Special

Well, ok . . . . not really. But it will soon. And we have Christmas on the brain. After you hear this, you will too!

For every family session that takes place in October, Jamison Foster Photography will donate a packed shoebox to Operation Christmas Child in your family's honor. You will receive an e-mail telling you the destination of your box and information about the country to which it will be going. Plus, you will receive 25 free photographic Christmas cards as our way of saying THANK YOU FOR HELPING OTHERS.

Check out the three designs you get to choose from (Don't we look good as models!):

Not a fan of these designs??? Don't worry. You can opt to choose $30 in credit toward a custom created card of your choice. Just ask for the details.

Want to know more about Operation Christmas Child?? Click here. Or let me know, & I can send you some materials. Jamison and I have been supporting Operation Christmas Child for several years. We are so blessed (year round--not just at Christmas). I've never had to go hungry or do without the basics, like these kids do. We want to pass that blessing on to others.

Thank you so much to our awesome clients. You are the best. We look forward to making this our biggest collection of boxes ever. Thanks again.

Getting Things Done

I get a thrill out of checking things off of my to-do list, even though it never seems to get any shorter, and lately I've gotten to check off START DECORATING THE NEW HOUSE. Please note that I said START because I am all for taking baby steps! :-) But start we've finally done, and it feels great! So great, in fact, that I wanted to share it with you! Here are some quick snap shots I took (don't mind the bad photography) to show you what we've been doing.

This is Ezra's room. We hung two 16x20 prints of him next to his closet door. Next step in Ezra's room---fill already bought frames w/ photographs of old cars.

This is the tiny hallway that connects Ezra & Alexis' rooms. It was so hard to get a decent shot here since there is no extra room to work with. Despite that, I love love love love love this space now that we've hung some photographs. Just ask Jamison---I tell him all the time how great I think it looks :-)

This is Alexis' room--hmmm, bet it didn't take long to figure that one out! Again, these are 16x20 prints.

Mobile above her bed.

I am thinking that the other walls (a soft lavender color) need a few metal prints hung w/ the same ribbon used on her mobile. I was thinking this one for sure.

What do you think?

Are you feeling inspired yet?

Now to get FINISH CAULKING and TOUCH UP PAINT marked off my to-do list!

If Crystal looks familiar, she should. I posted here about her Trash The Dress session last month. But as I finished editing her images, I realized I had so many favorites that I just had to share some more. So here you are. Enjoy!

Love the flowiness (if that's a word) of her dress.

Love this series in the old truck cab. We really need to find us one of those somewhere closer. So if you have an extra one just lying around, let me know. We'd be glad to take it off your hands.

This shot (above) always makes me smile :o)

What do you think? Which ones are your favorites?
